1. Physiology of the organ and the medical problems that necessitate the use of the implants, devices or disposables (10%)

2. Design of the implants, devices or disposables, highlightning the use of the biomaterials (30%)

3. Types and properties of the biomaterials used and the reasons for the success or failure (20%)

4. The related regulatory requirements ; Eg: FDA requirements (20%)
